BACOLOD City – Members of Bantay Bukid found human remains at Mt. Kulukabayuhan, Sitio Campuestohan Barangay Cabatangan, Talisay City, Negros Occidental on Wednesday.
Police received a call from the City Environment and Natural Resources Office informing them about the skeletons.
According to 51-year-old Eddy Soritan, one of the members of the Bantay Bukid, they were conducting foot patrol at the area when they found the skeleton of an unidentified person, a report from Talisay City Police Station indicated.
They also saw a blue t-shirt in the area.
The skeletons were taken to Talisay City Health Center for examination and later to Talisay City Public Cemetery.
