ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A husband is facing an arson case for allegedly burning their own house Sunday afternoon at Sitio Bato-bato Brgy. Dulangan Pilar, Capiz.
Magdalena Demandante is readying the arson charge against husband Ernesto to be filed before the Provincial Prosecutors Office.
An estimated P15,000 worth of properties were lost to a fire that razed a house made of light materials.
No one got injured when the house of Demandante couple went up in smoke.
According to FO1 Emil Greg Billones of Pilar Municipal Fire Station, a neighbor noticed the conflagration that quickly gobbled the house.
Fortunately, nobody inside when the fire broke out.
Magdalena believes that her husband intentionally set their house afire. She said that her Ernesto was left alone the house when the conflagration occurred.
The wife had accused her husband of abusing her.
Lately, the husband told their neighbors that he will set fire their house because he was always left alone.
The husband is nowhere to be found after the incident.
