Hotelogix, a global provider of cloud-based hospitality technology, announced it has received certification from the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) in the Philippines, enabling hotels in the country to achieve tax compliance with greater ease and efficiency.
The certification positions Hotelogix among the few cloud-based property management system (PMS) providers that meet the Philippine government’s stringent fiscal regulations. It allows hotels using the platform to issue official BIR-compliant receipts, maintain accurate financial records, and file tax documents in accordance with national mandates.
The BIR, operating under the Department of Finance, is responsible for collecting internal taxes, fees, and charges and enforcing associated penalties. It requires businesses, including hotels, to adopt certified systems that support transparency, traceability, and digital reporting in line with the government’s ongoing digitalization push.
“Becoming BIR-certified is a strategic milestone in our journey with hotels across the Philippines,” said Aditya Sanghi, CEO of Hotelogix. “It means that the same solution they already trust to run day-to-day operations can now also underpin regulatory compliance. We want to give hotels the confidence to grow, knowing that compliance, governance, and guest service are all supported by one modern, secure, and future-ready system.”
Hotelogix serves over 10,000 active users and manages more than 15,000 hotel keys in the Philippines. Prominent hospitality groups including Global Officium Limited Inc (GOLI), Enable Hospitality, Araw Hospitality Group, Astoria Hotels and Resorts, Azalea Hotels and Residences, and The Henry Hotels currently rely on the platform to drive their operations and growth.
With BIR certification, Hotelogix-equipped properties can now automate the issuance of compliant tax documents, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and simplify adherence to evolving regulatory requirements.
The announcement further solidifies Hotelogix’s leadership in the Philippine hospitality technology market, especially as local hotels intensify efforts around compliance and digital transformation.
Headquartered in Singapore, Hotelogix supports 12,000+ hotels in over 100 countries, including 250+ hotel groups. The company notably powered the world’s largest multi-property deployment of over 50,000 rooms across 500+ properties during the FIFA 2022 event in Qatar.
Hotelogix’s broader offerings, including Multi-property Management Systems, Mobile PMS Apps, and solutions from its distribution brand AxisRooms—such as Channel Manager and Revenue Management—serve hotels globally from offices in the United States, India, the UAE, Thailand, and the Philippines.
