ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A driver of a passenger L300 van received praises after he returned a wallet containing P16,000 cash left by his passenger Wednesday morning here.
Manuel “Tawi” Besinio of Brgy. Cogon in Panay, Capiz did not hesitate to return the money of Leah Bocala-Borbon of Brgy. Tico Panay town.
According to Besinio, he decided to return the money as he believed that the owner badly needed the money amid the pandemic.
This was not the first time that Besinio returned an item that was left in his passenger van.
He was tagged as an “honest” driver at the Roxas City Integrated Terminal because he returned a wallet that was left in his van twice already.
