ROXAS City, Capiz – A hilly portion of Pueblo de Panay (PDP) in barangays Lawaan and Dinginan here is allegedly a favorite watering hole for illegal drug users.
Security guards of the business area made the discovery after spotting two persons allegedly conducting pot session Tuesday afternoon.
According to retired police lieutenant Rolando Anisco, chief security officer of the PDP Safety and Traffic Management Office, they caught the duo following reports on the presence of some individuals in the area.
They immediately conducted monitoring and surveillance, but the two individuals escaped upon noticing the arrival of the security personnel.
Anisco said they recovered several drug paraphernalia and a tricycle from the place where the alleged pot session was held.
The recovered items were turned over to Roxas City police station.
