ROXAS CITY, Capiz — A farmer tagged by police as a high-value individual was arrested Wednesday evening, June 3, in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Jagnaya, Jamindan, Capiz.
Police identified the suspect as alias “John,” 52, a resident of Barangay Sto. Rosario, Jamindan.
Recovered from the suspect were four heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu, PHP 6,400 in buy-bust money, and several drug paraphernalia.
The suspect is under the custody of the Jamindan Municipal Police Station for proper disposition and documentation.
Police said charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, have been prepared against him.
