BACOLOD CITY — A man died after being pinned under a tractor in Barangay Vista Alegre, Ilog, Negros Occidental, on Tuesday morning.
Police Maj. Randy Babor, chief of the Ilog Municipal Police Station, said the tractor, which had an attached trailer loaded with a harvester, was carrying two helpers.
Babor said the driver reportedly swerved to avoid an object on the road, causing the heavy vehicle to tip over and hit a roadside barrier.
The victim, who was caught underneath the overturned tractor, sustained severe injuries.
He was rushed to a hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
His two companions were unharmed.
