SEOUL, South Korea — Filipino singer Gwyneth Dorado made a stirring debut on JTBC’s Sing Again 4, earning unanimous “All Again (All Pass)” approval from all eight judges during Round 1.
Her poised performance, emotional delivery, and warm vocal tone immediately captivated the judges and audience, positioning her as a standout contender in the survival audition series.
Dorado delivered a heartfelt rendition of the Korean classic “세월이 가면 (As Time Goes By),” showcasing refined control, depth, and emotional phrasing.
Judge Baek Ji-young, known as Korea’s “Queen of Ballads,” was moved to tears and told Dorado, “Please do not lose the purity that you currently have in your heart no matter who tells you something else.”
The powerful debut secured Dorado’s advancement to the next round and marked a historic moment for a Filipino artist on the influential Korean music stage.
JTBC’s Sing Again is a high-profile survival program designed to give lesser-known, forgotten, or once-popular singers a chance to “call themselves again singers.”
Now in its fourth season, the show has become a cultural phenomenon in South Korea, often dubbed “the revolt of the unknowns” for its ability to resurrect and launch music careers.
Past seasons of Sing Again introduced stars like Lee Mu-jin, who topped Korean charts with “Traffic Light” after gaining exposure from the show.
Season 4 premiered on October 14, 2025, at 10:30 PM KST and is broadcast in the Philippines at 9:30 PM PHT.
The show is available via JTBC and TVING in Korea, with highlights posted to the official JTBC YouTube channel following each episode.
Hosted by actor and singer Lee Seung-gi, this season features 81 contestants from across genres, including veteran artists and rising talents.
The all-star judging panel includes Yim Jae-beom, Yoon Jong-shin, Baek Ji-young, Kim Eana, Kyuhyun, Lee Hae-ri, Code Kunst, and new judge Taeyeon of Girls’ Generation.
JTBC, known for its premium drama, news, and entertainment content, is one of South Korea’s four national general programming networks and a powerhouse in Korean media.
