BACOLOD City – Negros Occidental Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson lauded the opening of the Ceres Pasalubong outside Bacolod City.
Lacson led the ribbon-cutting ceremony of Ceres Pasalubong at the Gaisano Grand in Silay City recently.
“When one door closes, another will open as the saying goes. The opportunity is not only for Silay City, but for the whole Western Visayas,” he said.
He thanked the mall management for hosting the new Ceres Pasalubong branch.
General manager Bong Rubino said the Ceres Pasalubong, that used to be located at the bus terminal when it started in 2018, is now in supermarkets.
Rubino said it partnered with the mall for the operation of its stores all over Western and Eastern Visayas.
More outlets will soon open in the cities of Bacolod and Kabankalan.
“With God’s grace and the prayers of all, we hope all of these will be realized soon, so that we can bring back the success that we had been experiencing before,” he added.
