Guv accepts resignation of chief of staff
BACOLOD City – Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson accepted the resignation of his chief of staff, Executive Assistant 4 Jonathan Lobaton effective Aug. 16, 2020. Lacson said Lobaton resigned for personal reasons. He thanked Lobaton for the services he rendered to the province. Francis Velez was consequently appointed as the governor’s Executive Secretary.

Lacson said Lobaton resigned for personal reasons. He thanked Lobaton for the services he rendered to the province.
Francis Velez was consequently appointed as the governor’s Executive Secretary.
Zeaphard Gerhart Caelian, head of the Provincial Disaster Management Program Division, takes over as new COVID-19 Provincial Incident Management Team commander, after the resignation of Lobaton.
Lobaton also served as chief of staff of Lacson when the latter was vice governor.
Lobaton said he will focus on his teaching career and will take care of his ailing mother who is already 83 years old.
