Guimaras’ Paskwa sa Isla 2024 Begins Nov. 27

The Province of Guimaras is gearing up for Paskwa sa Isla 2024, its annual holiday festival celebrating the island’s culture, community spirit, and local industries.
The festivities will begin on November 27, 2024, with a ceremonial lighting of Christmas decorations at the Provincial Capitol Grounds in San Miguel, Jordan.
The event will feature activities such as trade fairs showcasing Guimaras’ signature products, sports events, live music, Zumba sessions, a fun run, cultural showcases, and competitions, including a Christmas carol contest, Christmas dance competition, children’s Christmas costume contest, and a Christmas bazaar.
This year’s festival will continue its tradition of supporting micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) by providing them with a platform to promote and sell their products.
Running until December 20, 2024, Paskwa sa Isla aims to foster family and community bonding while positioning Guimaras as a prime holiday destination.
