The Guimaras National ID team marked the Philippine Statistics Authority’s (PSA) 12th anniversary by distributing tokens of appreciation to clients who availed of registration, updating, replacement, and inquiry services for the National ID.
“Our 12th anniversary is a celebration of service and partnership with the community,” said Provincial Statistics Officer Nelida B. Losare.
“By giving tokens to each National ID client, we show our appreciation and highlight the importance of accessible, reliable identification for every Guimarasnon,” she added.
The National ID system in Guimaras continues to enhance public service delivery by enabling more convenient transactions, such as banking, school enrollment, and access to government services.
The celebration also highlighted PSA Guimaras’ mobile registration efforts, which aim to bring services directly to residents in all municipalities.
“From September 2 to 18, mobile registration activities have already covered Old Poblacion, Ban-Ban, Cansilayan, Umilig, Montpiller, San Roque, Rizal, San Nicolas, Sto. Rosario, Dolores, and Salvacion,” Losare said.
Remaining mobile registration schedules include New Poblacion on Sept. 23, Maclain on Sept. 25, and Nazaret on Sept. 30.
“Residents who have not yet registered, or who need to update, replace, or secure their National IDs, are encouraged to take advantage of these convenient September schedules,” Losare said.
PSA Guimaras also recognized the strong support of local government units, barangay officials, and partner agencies for enabling the smooth rollout of the National Identification System.
The 12th anniversary celebration underscored PSA’s mission to provide client-centered, inclusive, and efficient public service.
“This milestone also highlights PSA Guimaras’ continued commitment to bringing services closer to residents, ensuring that every Guimarasnon can easily access and benefit from the National Identification System,” Losare said.
