Guimaras native arrested in Capiz for homicide charge

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A man wanted for homicide in Guimaras province was arrested by the police Wednesday morning, November 8, in Brgy. Sta. Monica, Dumalag, Capiz.
The Dumalag Municipal Police Station served a warrant of arrest against “Jimboy” (not his real name), 46, of Sitio Cabaling, Brgy. Espinosa, Jordan, Guimaras but temporarily residing in Brgy. Sta. Monica, Dumalag.
The warrant was issued by Judge Rosario Abigail Dris-Villanaueva of the Regional Trial Court Branch 65 in San Miguel, Jordan, Guimaras last March 16, 2018.
The court recommended a P40,000 bail for his temporary liberty.
Meanwhile, the Roxas City Police Station also arrested a wanted person Wednesday afternoon at Barangay Jumaguicjic, Roxas City.
“Renee” (also not his real name), 33, of Barangay Culasi here is accused of peddling illegal drugs.
The warrant for his arrest was issued by Judge Kristine B. Tiangco-Vinculado of RTC Branch 15, Roxas City on October 26, 2023.
Renee was first arrested by police in a drug buy-bust operation a few months ago in Barangay Culasi here.
