BACOLOD City – Policemen are looking into the possible involvement of a group of teenagers in a robbery hold-up incident that victimized a woman near the flyover at Barangay Singcang-Airport here last Tuesday.
Police Major Joery Puerto, commander of Police Station 8, said the victim was walking home around 11 p.m., when two young men suddenly appeared and allegedly threatened her.
Puerto said that one of the suspects was armed with an ice pick while the other was armed with an unidentified gun caliber.
The suspects allegedly grabbed the victim’s bag containing a wallet with P3,000 cash and fled. The victim was unharmed.
Puerto said the victim surfaced at the police station yesterday, barely two days after the incident.
Puerto said they are waiting for the victim to possibly identify the suspects who could possibly be part of a group of teenagers or young adults living in the village.
“Initially basi bala mga pamatan-on man nga taga dira, nga ga samong-samong,” he said.
