September is reserved for The Best Dressed Women of the Philippines but its on hold due to the pandemic.
Your Pagemaker will give tribute to Ilonggas who made it to the list, dahlings!
These “Grande Ilonggas”” were exemplary ahead of their time, business leaders, and of course fashion prime movers.
The Philippine Best Dressed Annual Awards night is the country’s biggest social event which does not only recognize fashion leaders and trendsetters but also helps raise funds for the Philippine Cancer Society.
Past awardees continued their charitable acts amid the pandemic. For example, the stunning Sheilla Golez-Tiongco, 2016 Best Dressed and Fabulous Woman awardee, together with her hubby, business mogul and banker Dr. Napoleon Tiongco Jr. kept themselves busy by giving food packs to frontliners and impoverished Ilonggos.
Darlene Ardena-Go, the only Ilongga awarded as Style Icon during the 2018 Best Dressed Women Awards night and one of 2018’s Fabulous awardee, said “helping and sharing is a must for everyone amid this pandemic.”
God bless Ladies and God bless!
