The Golden State Warriors finally returned to their winning ways after demolishing the Utah Jazz, 134-117, in the ongoing NBA regular season on Nov. 25, 2025.
With the much-needed win, Golden State put an end to its three-game misery and kicked off a new NBA week on a high note.
However, shades of their losses against Portland and Miami still haunted the Warriors when they had a rough start, allowing the Jazz to take control of the tempo and head into the second quarter with a nine-point lead, 35-26.
Eager to cheer up the silent Chase Center, Stephen Curry once again answered the call for Golden State and spearheaded a massive 40-21 rally that shifted things in favor of the Warriors in the second frame.
Curry exploded early in the second quarter after taking a brief breather on the bench, draining back-to-back three-pointers while putting his defenders on skates with several aggressive layup drives.
After Curry woke up the team, Jimmy Butler, who had a poor shooting performance in the opening period, picked up where he left off and operated in the shaded lane with his signature low-post attack.
It was Butler who prevented Utah from reverting to its high-octane attack as the superstar small forward’s aggressiveness in fishing for fouls put the Jazz in the early limit with five minutes still remaining in the second period.
With Utah now having little resistance in contesting Golden State’s layup drives, Butler orchestrated the Warriors’ second-quarter clinic with straight trips to the charity stripe.
Despite defensive adjustments for the Jazz when they put Keyonte George on Curry in the first four minutes, the more experienced stalwart got free from his defensive shackles through several pin-down screens in the elbow.
What made those sequences worse for Utah was that Curry only acted as a decoy, feeding the trailer guys who knocked down huge three-pointers, especially Moses Moody and Buddy Hield.
The game went out of hand for the Jazz at the end of the third quarter when Golden State ballooned its biggest lead of the game to 26 points, resulting in an early white towel throw for Utah with seven minutes left to play in the fourth canto.
After dropping 38 points against the Trail Blazers, Curry stretched his record of scoring 30+ points or more against the Jazz, top-scoring the game with 31 markers built from six made three-pointers.
Hield also had a huge offensive contribution for the Warriors after erupting for 20 points in just 22 minutes, while Butler and Moody delivered 18 and 15 points, respectively.
On the other hand, Utah received 28 points from George and a convincing outing from their lottery pick, Ace Bailey, who had 21 markers and three rebounds, but Golden State’s offensive artillery just proved to be too much, sending the Jazz to its fourth consecutive loss.
