It was a dazzling evening of fellowship and flair as the Rotary Club of Iloilo South (RCIS) marked its 55th charter anniversary with a Hollywood-themed dinner-dance and induction ceremony at the JR Hall of Diversion 21 Hotel, Iloilo City.
The event welcomed new officers and members for Rotary Year 2025-2026, led by incoming President Elsie Russel Locsin.
Among the newly inducted members was Dr. Rollin Tabuena, who also played a key role during the celebration.
Rotary International District 3850 Gov. Dr. Victor “Pip” Acepcion graced the evening as guest speaker and delivered an inspiring message on service, unity and impact.
A highlight of the affair was the ceremonial signing of sisterhood agreements with Rotary Club of Parañaque South, Rotary Club of Bacolod South and Rotary Club of Sae Gangreung from South Korea.
The official signing marked a strengthened commitment to global fellowship and collaboration among international Rotary partners.
After formalities, the atmosphere shifted to lively entertainment as officers and members performed Broadway-themed dance numbers that brought energy, laughter and camaraderie to the hall.
The celebration underscored RCIS’s mission to create positive change through service initiatives, with members pledging continued efforts to support the welfare of underprivileged Ilonggos and fellow Filipinos.
