BACOLOD City – A four-year-old girl died after she drowned in a river in Barangay San Agustin, Isabela, Negros Occidental last Thursday.
Police withheld the name of the victim.
Police Captain Joseph Partidas, Isabela town police chief, said the victim tagged along with her siblings at the river to swim around 2 p.m.
However, her older sibling failed to keep an eye on the victim.
Partidas said the victim was found three hours later.
She was taken to a hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
