The Brgy. Ginebra San Miguel let everyone in the PBA know how much they valued Scottie Thompson after inking him to a three-year max deal.
Thompson has received nothing but praises since joining Ginebra. With his hard work and dedication, the do-it-all combo guard has slowly emerged to be one of the game’s biggest stars.
Ginebra’s offer of a three-year max contract comes as no surprise after Thompson showed improvement year after year with the team.
San Miguel Corporation sports director Al Francis Chua was present during Thompson’s contract signing, Thompson’s initial contract was due to expire this coming August.
Thompson celebrated the event by posting photos of himself with Chua on his social media accounts.
Thompson was excellent during the recently concluded PBA Philippine Cup bubble edition and was clutch for Ginebra after sinking a couple of game-sealing baskets during their championship series against TNT.
Apart from his growing offensive game, Thompson’s teammates and coaching staff have raved about his athleticism, defense, basketball IQ, and work ethic.
