GCash users can buy Mynt IPO shares from PHP 660

MANILA — Filipinos with a verified GCash account can buy into the parent company of the country’s dominant e-wallet for as little as PHP 660, as Mynt Inc. opens its initial public offering (IPO) from Oct. 6 to 12, 2026.
The offering could become the largest IPO in Philippine history. Its retail channel puts stock ownership within reach of millions of app users who have never held a bank or brokerage account, a group largely absent from the local stock market.
That access comes with the same risks any shareholder carries, including the possibility of losing part of the money invested.
Mynt, the parent company of the group behind GCash, set the offer price at PHP 6.60 per share.
The IPO shares are available directly in the GCash app through GStocks PH, powered by AB Capital Securities Inc.
The minimum order is 100 shares, or PHP 660 at the offer price. There is no maximum order limit, subject to share availability.
Real-time allocation for early orders

As an exclusive benefit for GStocks PH users, orders placed on Oct. 6 and 7 will have their first 100 shares allocated in real time, while shares last.
Shares ordered beyond the first 100 will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability.
Order fulfillment begins Oct. 8, and users can track whether their orders are fulfilled, pending, or unfulfilled on their GStocks PH dashboard.
Institutional backing and record bid
Mynt has received its Permit to Sell from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), allowing it to begin the offer period.
The IPO has a total size of about PHP 53.0 billion, based on the sale of more than 8 billion shares at the final offer price.
More than 20 global and local institutions have committed to the offering. Together they account for 70% of the allocation.
These include funds and other separately managed accounts managed by investment management subsidiaries of BlackRock Inc., and IFC, the World Bank Group member focused on the private sector.
BPI Asset Management and Trust Corporation and the Trust Banking Group of Metropolitan Bank & Trust Company are also among the institutional buyers.
The institutions have made additional commitments to purchase any shares that remain unsold after the offer period.
If the overallotment option of up to 1,204,111,400 secondary common shares is fully exercised, the offer would raise up to about PHP 60.9 billion, which would make it the largest IPO in Philippine history.
The current record belongs to Monde Nissin, which raised PHP 55.89 billion when it listed in 2021. Mynt’s base offer of PHP 53.0 billion would fall short of that mark unless the overallotment is exercised.
The final price is well below Mynt’s original target. When it filed in June, the company said it could raise as much as PHP 92.3 billion at a price of up to PHP 10 per share with full use of the overallotment option.
Mynt says GStocks PH lets more Filipinos take part alongside major financial players, through the 100-share real-time allocation and the option to subscribe for more on GCash.
Simplifying the IPO process

Eligible users can open GStocks PH within GCash and transfer funds from their GCash wallet to their trading wallet.
They can then tap the Mynt IPO banner anytime during the offer period, input their preferred number of shares, review the order, and hit “Buy” to confirm.
If demand exceeds the initial shares available to AB Capital Securities Inc., the GStocks PH IPO meter will show the offer as oversubscribed.
Users can still place orders after that point and wait until the offer period closes to learn their allocation status.
Oversubscribed orders are not guaranteed, and any remaining funds will be returned to the user.
Mynt is set to list on the Main Board of the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) on Oct. 20, 2026, under the stock symbol GCASH, when its shares become publicly available for trading.
Expanding stock market access
Mynt said GStocks PH makes the stock market, including opportunities like IPOs, more accessible to Filipinos by eliminating traditional barriers.
“We built GStocks PH to completely eliminate the friction of traditional investing. By allowing users to set up and fund their wallets in a matter of minutes, and be able to participate responsibly in the capital markets, we are proving that investing and building a stronger financial future is no longer out of reach for Filipinos,” said Winsley Bangit, group head of new businesses at Mynt.
To use GStocks PH, users must be at least 18 years old and fully verified on GCash.
Users open the app, select GStocks PH on the homepage or Invest tab, and tap AB Capital Securities Inc. No bank or separate brokerage account is required.
The scale of the platform behind the listing explains the institutional interest. GCash had 39.1 million monthly active users in 2025 and processed PHP 17 trillion in payment transaction value, while Mynt posted revenue of PHP 79.8 billion and net income of PHP 17.2 billion that year.
Mynt was founded in 2015 as a partnership between Globe Telecom, Ayala Corp., and Ant Financial, now known as Ant Group.
Mynt describes GCash as the No. 1 finance super app in the Philippines and says it pursues a vision of “Finance for All.”
Its portfolio includes G-Xchange Inc., which runs the digital payments and electronic money activities in the GCash app and is regulated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, and Fuse Financing Inc., which provides credit products.
Mynt says its fintech operations support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly on safety and security, financial inclusion, diversity, equity and inclusion, and climate action.
