Garcia pushes for Pacquiao fight this 2020

Mikey Garcia is going all out to force a showdown with the only 8-time division world champion, Senator Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao, this 2020.

Earning a statement win against former WBO welterweight champion Jessie Vargas, Garcia suddenly had the guts to call out the big dogs in the welterweight division.

Although losing to number one ranked welterweight Errol Spence Jr., Garcia said that if he and Pacquiao will face, the Filipino slugger won’t give him the size problem Spence Jr. gave him where the champion dominated throughout the bout.

Spence Jr.’s victory handed Garcia the first loss of his career, with the latter now sporting a professional record of 40-1 with 30 wins coming from way of knockout.

With the experience Garcia earned through the years, he said that he is now confident to face the living legend and vows to offer boxing fans not only a show but a victory.

For those who don’t know, Garcia served as Pacquiao’s sparring partner during his legendary bout against Mexican legend Erik Morales way back 2006.

He was 18 years old at that time, and he claimed that having a sparring session with a young Pacquiao was a nightmare that had to go around 9 times per training.

Now 32 years old, Garcia said that he is nothing but ready to beat Pacquiao and already has a special strategy to beat him.

Will Pacman’s camp hear Garcia’s offer? Or will they accept Spence Jr.’s challenge where the IBF and WBC world welterweight belts are at stake?
