Self-made businessman and arts patron Arsenio “Sen” Rafael III continues to contribute to the growth of the arts community by opening GALERIE DE ARSIE on Dec 5, 2021 at their family-owned Metro Iloilo Modern Arts Park building in Jaro, Iloilo City.
The gallery, which feature’s Mr. Rafael’s personal collections of artworks by national and local artists, is his contribution to the Arts Festival this December 2021.
Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas and Mrs. Rosalie Treñas joined Mr. Rafael and his wife Melinda in the formal opening of the gallery.
The gallery is a good combination of sightseeing and exercise as some of the artworks bedeck the stairways of the building – from the basement all the way to the 8th floor.
The gallery is also a good complement to Sen Rafael’s Dwellü, Iloilo’s newest go-to place for curated lifestyle in furniture, lights, and home décor.
In his congratulatory speech, Mayor Treñas said Galerie de Arsie “is another pride for our city and one of the attractions for arts and culture lovers!”
Cheers and congratulations to Sen and Mel Rafael and family!
