ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Four persons accused of various crimes were arrested Wednesday.
Police in Dumalag, Capiz collared brothers Joel Pangan, 27, and Jestil Pangan, 20, at their house in Barangay San Rafael, Dumalag Capiz.
The warrant for their arrest were issued by Judge Sebastino Baguio of the Municipal Circuit Trial Court (MCTC) of Dumalag for the crime of direct assault.
The court recommended a P36,000 bail each for their temporary liberty. The two are presently detained at the police station.
Meanwhile, police in Pilar town nabbed Rolando Andrade of Barangay San Esteban, Pilar, Capiz.
Andrade is facing charges for violations of Republic Act 7610 or Special Protection of Children against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.
The warrant for Andrade’s arrest was issued by Judge Faustino Roxas of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 14 in Roxas City on Aug 6, 2020.
A P80,000 bail was recommended for his temporary liberty. He is presently detained at Maayon Municipal Police Station.
Meanwhile, the Maayon police arrested Gerardo Monsair, 61, of Barangay Balighot, Maayon, Capiz.
Monsair is accused of violating RA 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Act.
