ROXAS CITY, Capiz– Police on Wednesday arrested four wanted persons in separate operations.
The Jamindan police collared Jen Mendoza, 30, at his house in Barangay Agloway, Jamindan, Capiz for the crime of murder.
The warrant for Mendoza’s arrest was issued by Regional Trial Court Branch 21 Judge Romel Leonor in Mambusao Capiz. No bail was recommended for his temporary liberty.
Hours later, the Roxas City police arrested Rafael Alejaga, 54, of Sitio Dulunan Brgy. Tanza here. He was nabbed while strolling on Roxas Avenue.
Alejaga is facing charges for violation of Republic Act 7610 (Special Protection of Children against Child Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act) before the sala of acting Presiding Judge Faustino Roxas of RTC Branch 14 in Roxas City. The warrant for his arrest was issued Aug 14, 2020.
Meanwhile, joint forces of Panay Muncipal Police Station, Roxas City Police Station, 1st Capiz Provincial Mobile Force Company, Highway Patrol Group kag Criminal Investigations and Detections Group-Capiz nabbed Alexander Martinez, 21, of Panay town.
Martinez is accused of violating RA 10883 (Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016). Judge Kristine Tiangco-Vinculado of RTC Branch 16 here issued the arrest warrant on Aug 19, 2020.
On the same day, the police of Mambusao, Capiz arrested Roger Dapetillo, 58, of Brgy. Cala-agus Mambusao while walking at the Poblacion Mambusao for the crime of attempted homicide.
The warrant for his arrest was issued on Aug 17, 2020 by Judge Joevy P. Valenzuela of the Municipal Trial Court in Mambusao, Capiz. The court recommended P36,000 bail for his temporary liberty.
