Four hurt in trike-motorcycle collision

Four persons were injured in a collision between a motorcycle and tricycle evening of April 28, 2022 in Tigbauan, Iloilo.
Wounded were Albert Librehun, 19, a tricycle drive from Barangay Olo Barroc, Tigbauan; and Paolo Antonio Beluso, 36, of Barangay Botong, Oton, Iloilo.
Librehun’s passengers, Aleah Jenine Maravilla and Mark Kenneth Reyes, were also injured, but they no longer required hospital confinement after receiving treatment.
Librehun was taken to Rep. Pedro Trono Memorial District Hospital in Guimbal town while Beluso was rushed to Western Visayas Medical Center in Mandurriao, Iloilo City.
According to police reports, the tricycle came from a feeder road at Atabayan going to Barroc village when it was bumped by Beluso’s motorcycle which was running on the opposite lane.
It was not immediately known if either vehicle was speeding when the incident happened.
