Police identified the victims as tricycle driver Simeon Noblezada, 62; and passengers – Meldy Capillo, Dena Espinosa, and Kent Tolido, 19, all residents of the said village.
Wounded was pick-up truck driver Christopher Antiqueno, 50, of Barangay Granada here.
Police Major Jake Barila, town police chief, said Noblezada was about to make a left turn when an alleged speeding pick-up truck driven by Antiqueno reportedly overtook an unidentified vehicle and crashed into the tricycle.

All four victims died on the spot due to severe injuries.
Barila said the pick-up truck fell to the gutter due to the strong impact.
The tricycle and the pick-up were on the same direction when the accident happened, he added.
“Na alang-alang siguro ang pick-up pag overtake niya tungod sa kadasigon,” the police chief said.
Barila said Antiqueno sustained minor injuries and is detained at the police station.
