Four Capiz cops get new assignments

ROXAS CITY, Capiz The provincial director of the Capiz Police Provincial Office (CPPO) confirmed the relief of four police officers from different police stations here.
Police Colonel Canilo Fuentes, Capiz police director, said among the relieved officers are Police Senior Master Sgt. Warren Fabros and Police Chief Master Sgt. Franklin Blanco. They were transferred from Pres. Roxas police station to Tapaz police station.
Police Master Sgt Jocelyn Fabros was moved from Pres. Roxas to Dumarao.
Meanwhile, Police Lt. Glenn Hervias of Roxas City PNP was transferred from the Provincial Mobile Group to Dao police station.
According to Fuentes, the transfer of police officers are normal procedure in the PNP in order to balance the assignment of every police station. It is also a process to augment the police force so that they could perform their duties well.
Fuentes said that a mayor or a chief executive of the town, city or province has the right to choose whom they like to be the chief of police based on their recommendations to the higher command.
