BACOLOD City – Four persons, including two drug surrenderers, were arrested following the dismantling of an alleged drug den in Barangay Estefania here last Tuesday.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Negros Occidental raided the house of the subject identified as Marlon Treyes, 37, of the said village.
Aside from Treyes, Junie Alisbo, 32, of the said village, was also busted, after he allegedly joined the transaction. Alisbo was also reported to PDEA through the “Isumbong Mo Kay Wilkins” hotline.
Two women were also allegedly caught holding a “pot session” inside Treyes’s house. About 15 grams of suspected shabu worth P102,000 was seized from them.
According to a PDEA agent, who requested anonymity, Treyes and Alisbo previously surrendered to the authorities through Oplan Tokhang.
In fact, Treyes was scheduled to undergo a community-based rehabilitation program in the barangay, while Alisbo was about to start the rehab, but tested positive in the drug test, the PDEA agent said.
