Four boats caught for illegal fishing

ROXAS CITY, Capiz– Four fishing vessels were apprehended by the Bantay Dagat team of Libas for alleged illegal fishing Wednesday afternoon in the waters of Culasi village here. Among the fishing vessels that were apprehended were MB SOPHEA owned by Roberto Carlos with three crew members, all residents of Barangay Culasi.

ROXAS CITY, Capiz– Four fishing vessels were apprehended by the Bantay Dagat team of Libas for alleged illegal fishing Wednesday afternoon in the waters of Culasi village here.
Among the fishing vessels that were apprehended were MB SOPHEA owned by Roberto Carlos with three crew members, all residents of Barangay Culasi.
Also appreheneded were MB MARKSEN owned by Mark Udar with four crew members, and MB TRINA owned by Jeck Barredo with three crew members, and the other one was MB MARGA owned by Bong Lachica with four crew members.
Meanwhile, another fishing vessel owned by Rommel Andrade was apprehended also on Wednesday while fishing in the waters of Barangay Balaring, Ivisan, Capiz.
The recovered fishing paraphernalia will be turned over to the Municipal Agriculture Office while charges are being prepared against the suspects.
