BACOLOD City – Four personnel of the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) got new assignments effective Aug 12, 2020.
This was revealed yesterday by Police Lieutenant Colonel Ariel Pico, public information officer of BCPO.
Pico said Police Captain Leo Estopa was assigned in concurrent capacity as one of the team leaders of the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) and at the same time officer-in-charge of Police Station 2.
Estopa replaced Police Major Sherlock Gabana, who was transferred to the City Administrative and Resource Management Unit (CARMU), Pico said.
Estopa had previously led Police Station 2 but he went schooling in October 2019 for his promotion, he added.
Pico said Police Major Leo Logroño from Police Regional Office (PRO)-6 was also detailed to BCPO as officer-in-charge of the City Operations Management Unit (COMU).
Police Captain Eufracio Javines from PRO-6 was also moved to BCPO as officer-in-charge of CARMU.
Meanwhile, Police Lieutenant Colonel Lester Leada is now the fulltime deputy city director for operations (DCDO) of the BCPO.
