ROXAS CITY, Capiz — A former female inmate was arrested again Sunday night, September 28, in a drug buy-bust operation at Sitio Railway, Barangay Punta Tabuc, Roxas City.
Police identified the suspect as alias “Fam,” 27, of Barangay 7.
Recovered from her possession were three sachets of suspected shabu and PHP 3,000 in marked money used in the operation.
The buy-bust was jointly conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Team of the Roxas City Police Station and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA-Capiz).
Police said the suspect was previously arrested in 2023 for the same offense but was released after entering a plea bargaining agreement.
She will face charges for violating Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The suspect is currently under the custody of the Roxas City Police Station for proper disposition.
