Former Hua Siong College of Iloilo Red Phoenix superstar Mark Nonoy decided to hand out packed meals to his hometown’s frontliners including the police, civil security, and barangay officials amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Currently staying at home due to the enhanced community quarantine, Nonoy is taking his time bonding with his family in La Carlota, Negros Occidental before the UAAP season resumes.
“Napag-isipan po kasi naming wala naman kaming masyadong problema sa bahay pagdating sa pagkain kaya napag-isipan kong itulong na lang namin sa mga frontliner,” Nonoy said.
The UAAP Season 82 Rookie of the Year, together with his family, roamed around their vicinity and distribute packed meals.
Nonoy is suiting up for the UST Growling Tigers and will stay in Negros Occidental until the quarantine is lifted and air and sea travel allowed to and from Manila.
