ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Five more persons tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) here.
In the latest bulletin issued by the City Health Office, the new cases were:
-Case No. 265: a 43-year-old female Health Worker in a private hospital and resident of Sitio Proper, Brgy. Culasi;
-Case No. 266: an 18-year-old girl and resident of Culajao. She doesn’t have travel history, but her relative is a Barangay Frontliner. The patient has diabetes and presently admitted to Roxas Memorial Provincial Hospital (RMPH);
-Case No. 267: a 39-year-old male and resident of Burgos Street, Brgy. Tanque. He is under home quarantine.
-Case No. 268: a 59-year-old woman, resident of Nasagud, Brgy. Lanot and an employee of a construction company. She is symptomatic and admitted to a private hospital;
-Case #269: a 72-year-old man from Fuentes Subd., Brgy. 10 with no travel history but symptomatic.
Meanwhile, 10 more persons recovered from the disease as of Wednesday.
At present, Roxas City has 269 total cases with 98 active cases, 149 recoveries, and 22 deaths.
