Five persons were arrested in a police anti-narcotics operation at a suspected drug den in Passi City, Iloilo afternoon of May 30.
The suspects were identified as Edmundo Bugna Jr., 40, of Railway St., Barangay Poblacion Ilaya, Passi City and his cohorts Anthony Joco, 33, of Jaro, Iloilo City; Peigen Ritz Agustar, 21, and a 16-year-old from Sitio Hacienda Rosa, Barangay Garita, San Enrique, Iloilo; and Mariette Fe Villawala, 22, of Buenavista, Guimaras.
Members of the Passi City Police Station conducted the buy-bust operation following reports of a drug den at Railway St., Poblacion Ilaya, Passi City.
Recovered from the suspects were four sachets of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of P13,600.
The five suspects are detained and will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165, (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
Meanwhile, Brigadier General Sidney Villaflor, Western Visayas police chief, vowed a more relentless campaign against illegal drugs.
