The first private motor vehicle inspection and testing center in Capiz opened in Roxas City recently.
Leading the official opening of Private Motor Vehicle Inspection and Testing Center (PMVITC) were Roxas City Mayor Ronnie Dadivas, Capiz Gov. Esteban Contreras, owner Judith Azarcon, Land Transportation Office (LTO)-6 Regional Director Eric Lenard Tabaldo, LTO-6 Assistant Regional Director Gaudioso Geduspan, LTO Roxas City Head Lourdes Casipi, Mr. Joey Marquez, Ms. Harriette Ong-Banzon, and other important guests.
PMVITC began operations after securing permission from the LTO.

Its services include Speedometer Test, Weight Test, Brake Test, Smoke Emission, Sound Level and Headlight Test.
Mayor Ronnie Dadivas said the opening of PMVITC proves that they can balance health and economic development amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

PMVITC is seen to boost road safety and public health as motorists can monitor the performance of their vehicles and compliance with traffic and safety rules.
