Fire razes two houses

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Two houses were turned to ashes by a fire Saturday at Sitio Balud, Barangay Lacaron in Dao town.

Fortunately, no one was hurt in the blaze that hit the houses of Teodomero Flores, 69. One of the houses was made of light materials while the other beside it is partly made of concrete.

According to Senior Fire Officer 3 Rodelyn Bermejo, Dao Municipal Fire Marshall, the fire’s cause might be electrical in nature.

Flores daughter was home alone when the fire occurred.

Investigation is still ongoing.
