BACOLOD City – A fire struck seven houses at Purok Seaside, Barangay Tangub here last Saturday.
Four were destroyed while three others were partially damaged.
Chief Inspector Publio Ploteña, city fire marshal, said the fire reportedly erupted from the house of a certain Gerardo Rocellio due to an overheated electrical installation.
It immediately spread to neighboring houses made of light materials.
Ploteña said the fire gobbled an estimated P70,000 worth of properties.
No injuries were reported.
