Fire Destroys PHP 150K Property in Pres. Roxas

ROXAS CITY, Capiz—A fire in Barangay Pantalan Vizcaya, President Roxas, destroyed a house valued at approximately PHP 150,000 on Friday afternoon, January 24.

The house, owned by Rean Billones and constructed with mixed concrete and light materials, was completely gutted by the blaze.

According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) in President Roxas, the fire started from dried leaves inside Billones’ house, which were accidentally set ablaze.

Strong winds caused the fire to spread quickly. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Arson investigators are continuing to look into the incident.
