ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A residential house made of light materials was completely burned down in the early hours of Dec. 9, 2025, in Brgy. Tugas, Mambusao, Capiz.
Authorities identified the homeowner as alias “Ritchie,” a resident of the barangay.
According to Senior Fire Officer 3 Aldren D. Catalan of the Mambusao Bureau of Fire Protection, their office received a fire call at around 1:17 a.m.
The fire was declared out by 2:54 a.m., following a full response from local fire units.
Arson investigators are still determining the fire’s origin and the estimated cost of damage.
