Fire destroys house in Jamindan, Capiz

JAMINDAN, Capiz — A fire destroyed a house early Monday, July 27, in Sitio Agbalagon, Barangay Jaena Norte, Jamindan.
No injuries were reported in the fire at the home of Manuelita Santiago, 34.
The house was made of light materials, authorities said.
An initial investigation by the Bureau of Fire Protection found that the occupants awoke after feeling heat from a fire that apparently started in the living room.
Firefighters brought the blaze under control and declared it extinguished at about 1:51 a.m.
Arson investigators estimated the damage at PHP 10,500.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
