Fire Destroys 4 Houses in Roxas City Barangay
ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Four houses made of light materials were destroyed in a fire of unknown origin on Sunday afternoon, July 13, in Sitio Pagutok, Barangay Dayao. No one was injured during the incident. The houses, owned by Daryle Egos, Liberto Francisco, Merly Zonio and Erwin Hechanova, were completely razed.

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Four houses made of light materials were destroyed in a fire of unknown origin on Sunday afternoon, July 13, in Sitio Pagutok, Barangay Dayao.
No one was injured during the incident.
The houses, owned by Daryle Egos, Liberto Francisco, Merly Zonio and Erwin Hechanova, were completely razed.
Several motorcycles were also destroyed in the blaze.
Arson investigators estimated the initial damage at more than PHP200,000, including the loss of 50 round-caged chickens.
Four fire trucks from the Roxas City Bureau of Fire Protection and the Capiz Citizen Action Group responded to the fire, which broke out at around 1 p.m.
The Bureau of Fire Protection is investigating the incident to determine its cause and assess the full extent of the damage.
Meanwhile, the Roxas City government, through the City Social Welfare and Development Office, has extended initial assistance to the affected families.
The aid includes relief goods, hygiene kits, kitchen items and sleeping kits.
The city is also processing additional assistance to help the victims begin rebuilding their homes.
