Fire causes P135K loss in Dumalag

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A fire caused an estimated P135,000 worth of damage when it completely burned a house and partially razed a private medical clinic late Wednesday night, June 5, in Barangay Poblacion, Dumalag, Capiz.
The Dumalag Bureau of Fire Protection received the call for assistance around 11:40 p.m. and immediately responded.
Fire trucks from Cuartero, Dumarao, and Tapaz also responded to the incident and declared the fire out at about 1:02 a.m. on June 6.
An investigation by the Dumalag BFP indicated that the fire allegedly erupted from the kitchen of the house.
The medical clinic, which was attached to the house, was partially burned.
Arson investigators are currently conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the fire and the total extent of the damages.
