Top Filipino prospect James Bacon is slowly making his presence felt and presented a strong case for world ranking contention after another convincing knockout win.
In his welterweight bout against Roque Junco, Bacon unloaded one of the heaviest punches he threw and left the opposition unconscious that urged the referee to stop the bout.
It was a slugfest at the start of the first round as both Junco and Bacon were willing to trade punches and caught each other several times but went more furious soon as the bell rang for the second.
Junco attempted to edge Bacon in the scorecards at the start of the second by hounding him and made the tempo of the match favorable to him but saw everything crash after one devastating punch by the Filipino sensation.
Bacon’s victory was his second-straight in the USA and is hoping to turn heads with his impressive KO victory.
The knockout handed Bacon his 18th overall and now holds an astonishing record of 25-4 with 18 knockouts and is hoping to have more breakout bouts in the US.
