BACOLOD City – Fifteen persons were arrested while P333,860 worth of suspected shabu were seized in separate buy-bust operations in Negros Occidental from March 1 to 12.
The biggest drug haul was reported in San Carlos City with the confiscation of 20 grams of suspected shabu worth P136,000.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Negros Occidental identified the subject as Rovener Nemenzo, 61, of Barangay 6.
He is a high-value target, according to PDEA. Also recovered from him were the P500 marked money, and P15,000 boodle money.
Nine persons were also apprehended in the cities of La Carlota, Bago, Cadiz, Kabankalan, Victorias, Escalante, Talisay, and San Carlos City, while five others were arrested in the towns of Pontevedra, Manapla, La Castellana, and Binalbagan.
Police seized P197,860 worth of suspected shabu from these operations.
