Fifteen nabbed, P291,419 worth of ‘shabu’ seized

BACOLOD City – Almost P300,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized from 15 persons in various buy-bust operations here and in Negros Occidental in the past two days.

The seizure included P217,219 worth of the said contraband in the province, while P74,200 worth of the same illegal drugs was recovered here.

In the province, 10 persons were arrested in the drug bust operations conducted in the cities of Talisay, Silay, Victorias, Kabankalan, Sipalay, Escalante, and the towns of Don Salvador Benedicto, La Castellana, and Isabela.

The city of Silay had the highest drug haul with P102,000 worth of suspected shabu on April 21.

In Bacolod, five persons were apprehended in the drug war of the city police force led by Police Stations 4, 5, and 6.
