The ever-charming Makati Mayor Abigail “Abby” Binay’s delightful visit to the City of Love was celebrated with an elegant merienda cena hosted by none other than philanthropist Dr. Sandra S. Gomez.

Dr. Gomez graciously stood in for her son, top-tier Makati lawyer Mark S. Gorriceta, a close friend of Mayor Abby.

The venue, the stylish Bizbar of the plush Richmonde Hotel Iloilo, was transformed into a chic and cozy space by none other than Dr. Sandra’s daughter, the glamorous chef Pauline Gorriceta-Banusing. Known for her culinary artistry, Pauline curated a sumptuous spread that combined French and Spanish influences with Asian flair. Guests were also treated to her signature La Paz batchoy, a nod to Iloilo’s culinary pride.
