BACOLOD City Vice Governor-elect Jeffrey Ferrer assured Governor-elect Eugenio Jose Lacson of support and cooperation from his office despite coming from different parties in the elections.
Ferrer belongs to United Negros Alliance while Lacson is one of the stalwarts of Love Negros Team.
Ferrer was proclaimed this afternoon by the Board of Canvassers as the duly elected vice governor of the province.
Also proclaimed was his wife Yoyet Ferrer who won her second term as representative of the 4th district.
The incoming vice governor said he and Lacson planned to be proclaimed together but it did not push through because of conflicts in their schedules.
He said it does not mean he and Lacson are already in conflict
“I assure the Governor of my cooperation and support,” Ferrer said.
