ROXAS CITY, Capiz A 23-year-old man died was hacked to death by his own father on Feb 7, 2019 at Barangay Cabungahan in Maayon, Capiz.
Police identified the victim as Alden Salcedo who succumbed to hack wounds on his head and body.
The suspect is his own father Ricky Salcedo, 40.
Police investigation indicated that the two were drinking liquor inside their house when an argument erupted.
Alden allegedly took a homemade shotgun and shot his father but missed.
The father, then, went to the kitchen, took a bolo and hacked his son.
The victim was rushed to the nearest hospital but died while under treatment.
Meanwhile, Rickys wife said she has no plan to sue the suspect who surrendered to the police after the incident.
