ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A 30-year-old farmer wanted for the crime of robbery was arrested Monday morning at Barangay Santa Monica, Dumalag, Capiz.
Joemar Maximo of Brgy., Manhoy Dao, Capiz did not resist when police from Dumalag Municipal Police Station served the warrant of arrest issued by Regional Trial Court Branch 18 Judge Ignacio Alajar on April 28, 2011.
The court recommended P24,000 bail for his temporary liberty. The suspect is presently detained at the police station for failure to post bail and he will be presented to the court for proper disposition.
Maximo was charged for robbery that happened 10 years ago.
He went into hiding after committing the crime after the case was filed against him.
