Farmer shot dead in Jamindan

Police identified the victim as Jobert Laurente, 38, who died of gunshot wounds in his armpit and chest. The victim was declared dead at Mambusao District Hospital in Mambusao town.

JAMINDAN, Capiz – A farmer was shot dead by an unidentified suspect Saturday evening at Sitio Tigbaw in Brgy. Agloloway, Jamindan.
Police identified the victim as Jobert Laurente, 38, who died of gunshot wounds in his armpit and chest.
The victim was declared dead at Mambusao District Hospital in Mambusao town.
Investigation conducted by Jamindan PNP indicated that the victim was standing at the main door of their house after eating his dinner when the suspect appeared and shot him twice using an undetermined gun caliber.
The suspect quickly fled.
